Beautiful photographic contact press "Ideal Tireur Crayssac", model Nº 1560 "France et Etranger", from the beginning of the 20th century, in great condition. Made of hard tropical wood, it is used to make contact positives, i.e. of the same size as the negative. The procedure involves contacting the emulsified surface of both the negative image and the final support, which will house a positive image. The set contains an electrical system that controls the exposure to an internal illumination set during the printing period. It is both an important object for the collector of photographic antiques, and a genuine artifact that still today makes possible the use for which it was designed, experimenting with alternative photographic processes such as cyanotype or simply with the traditional photographic emulsion. The working surface measures 18 x 24 cm. As a curiosity, it is even offered with a negative glass plate showing a studio photo of a male group, undoubtedly taken around the twenties of the last century. Measures: 50 cms (height), 48,5 cms (width), 44 cms (depth).
