Antique French wooden telephone, manufactured in Paris circa 1920 and in good condition. This is a tabletop model, with a solid light mahogany wooden case and original mechanism and wiring. The case is handcrafted and features exquisite dovetail joints at the corners; it is also in good condition. The original varnish and metal parts show signs of age and use, which in no way detract from the items beauty and charm. The telephone includes a handset with a microphone and an auxiliary handset for a second listener. On the cover, there is a plaque inscribed with ASOCIATION DE OUVRIERS EN INSTRUMENTS DE PRECISION PARIS, which is also engraved on the microphone of the main handset, along with the year 1910 and the serial number 21595. The auxiliary handset also bears its own serial number: 12840. The wiring and internal mechanism are original to the period: they are very complete and well-preserved, adding to the items appeal. Overall, the telephone features a design full of personality and character, which complements its excellent condition.
