Fine ship alarm clock, made in the 1950s and in perfect working order. It is a really original piece that will surely stand out in any room because of its attractive and sober look. This clock was made in Germany and has survived to our days in great condition, having been checked and adjusted to guarantee a perfect working order. The structure that holds the clock and bells is made of solid wood, with light-colored pieces and darker sides. The clock is attached to the top of the small piece of furniture, just over the two bells. We can see a slim metal rod emerging from below the movement; the rod has a tiny hammer at the tip designed to hit the bells and create the alarm sound. The face itself is white and bears Roman numbers, second hand and a timer for the alarm. At the rear we can reach the holes and screws designed to wind up the movement and set the clock and the timer. The movement has an inscription with the words WESTERN GERMANY that indicate the country where the clock was made.At the front, over the clocks face we can see a metal plate with an embossed inscription that reads 1807. It is clear that the clock was not made then so this plate is just a decorative detail. At the bottom the wooden stand has a small shelf with a drawer; this piece bears a front knob. The small piece of furniture stands on four small turned legs, all of them original. The clock keeps all its components and pieces and works perfectly. It can be used as a decorative item and as an alarm clock too. This lovely ship alarm clock could be a great present for anyone who loves vintage charming pieces.Measurements: 42 cms high and 28 cms wide
