Striking mantel clock from the early 20th century, made in carved and turned solid wood in 1900. This clock is in excellent condition and its movement has been fully revised and adjusted to provide a perfect working. The clock chimes the hours and the halves and boasts an exceptional beauty. The turned columns that flank the clocks face, together with the carved designs and the metal details that embellish the box, make up an elegant and sober piece that matches perfectly with the reddish wood and the metal face. Solid and timeless, this clock is bound to be the starring piece in the decoration of any room or office.The solid wooden box is adorned by a crown with three finely turned pinnacles. The boxs top is especially appealing and is profusely carved in an architectural style design. The face is protected by a beveled glass door original from the time. Two columns located on both sides provide the front side with a balanced beauty. The clock stands on a molded base with four small legs. At the front, three brass details embellish the top and bases center providing light and shine to the sober design of the box. The clock has an impeccable finish, warm and with a satin glow that enhances the woods color.At the rear we can see a door with a metal ring that can be opened to reach the clocks movement. It is in perfect working order and keeps the original pendulum bob, parts and gears. At the front we can also open the glass door to reach the smart metal face with black Roman numbers. Here there are also two plugs designed to insert the winding key. We are looking at a magnificent mantel clock whose presence will provide any living room with an aristocratic touch.
