This attractive precision scale was made in Spain in the 1930, and has survived to our days in excellent condition. It is made of brass and is well preserved, boasting a polished surface with almost no signs of the trace of time. The scale rests on a nice solid wooden base with molded top and base and a front drawer, designed to store the weigh set. It works fine and comes with the original instruction leaflet in Spanish. At the base of the pillar we can see a small brass lever that once pressed, lifts the pans so the scale can be used. On the other hand, the base where the scale stands on is made of solid beech wood, in very good condition and with the original finish. It has a wide drawer inside, with a small brass knob in the middle of the front piece. As stated before, the scale comes with an instruction sheet made of red card and with the instructions printed in clear black lettering. Its great design and ancient age turn this scale into a very special item, perfect to decorate an elegant pharmacy or a classy room. Measurements: Width: 10 in/27 cm. Height: 10.6 in/25.5 cm.
