Very antique medical trepanation set made in 1730 in France, with all the tools in amazing condition. The box which contains the set is made of solid oak wood that has been restored. It bears a dark walnut-colored French-polish finish that provides the wood with depth and charm. The lock and the key are original from the period and remain in perfect working order. If we open the box, inside we will find the trepanation tools on a light-blue-colored base. Each tool fits in its particular gap, so they can be transported without moving or deteriorating. The tool set is composed of a trepanation drill, a black plastic base, core drill bits, punches and spatulas. The drill bears the name MILLOT engraved in the metal surface. The tools are made of steel and boast a sturdy and powerful look, having survived to our days in outstanding condition. Every collector of medical antiques will see a real find in this antique medical trepanation set made in 1730, complete and wonderfully preserved. Measurements: Width: 11.6 in / 29 cm.
