Gorgeous pair of antique pharmaceutical ceramic vases, made circa 1900 and in good condition. At the vases foot we can see some small repairs. The vases are made of white ceramic and are painted by hand in different colors, with dividing stripes, flowery motifs, scrolls, fringes and heraldic eagles. The motifs are painted with free and skillful strokes and stand out for their lovely color range (dark blue, light green, ochre and black) on the white background. At the front side of the vases, we can see the Latin names of the products or substances they were originally intended to contain: MANNA and ADEPS, both in black capital letters. The vases also preserve their original ceramic lids. This fine pair of antique pharmaceutical ceramic vases, made by hand and beautifully painted, will shine as a decorative element in any room. Dimensions: Height: 13.78 in / 35 cm.
