Fine antique pair of pharmaceutical ceramic vases, 13.8 inches high and made circa 1900. This singular set is more than one hundred years old, but even so it has survived to our days in a very satisfactory condition. The two vases are well preserved and complete, and show no dents, cracks or hairlines. The white ceramic is profusely adorned with green, ochre and blue paint strokes which create flowers, bands and snakes (a symbol of Pharmacy). At the front side we can see the names of the substances the vases were originally intended to contain: MEL (honey) and CERA (wax). Both preserve their original ceramic lids, also complete and in fine condition.
