Antique pharmacy precision scale, probably made in Italy in the early 20th century and in very good condition. This is pillar-type scale designed for pharmaceutical or laboratory use, made of polished brass and of superb quality and elegance. The central pillar is cylindrical and preserves the central lever in working order. The beam and the pointer are original and remain in amazing condition, just like the stylish brass plates. We can see the inscription P. CENTO GR marked in the beam and the pans; the pans are marked with some quality-control hallmarks too. The scale works greatly and can be used to weight small volumes of products, thanks to the complete set of weighs and microweighs which comes with it. It stands on a great dark-mahogany wooden base with a white marble top. Both materials are in great condition. The base contains a drawer with brass knob which contains the weigh set in its wooden case. With a beautiful design and made of noble materials, this antique pharmacy precision scale is a real collectors piece. Dimensions: Base: Width: 13 in / 33 cm. Height: 2.7 in / 7 cm. Depth: 6.7 in / 17 cm. Beams Width: 8.27 in / 21 cm. Total Height: 14.57 in / 37 cm.
