Exceptional Ewer in Solid Silver made in Persia. XIX Century. It is composed of a robust longitudinal body, wider at the bottom, but narrow as it approaches the mouth. All the contour of the piece is beautifully decorated with forms characteristic of the Persian world, further adorned by a delicate chiseling. A studied and geometric succession of shields of irregular profile, bordered by delicate floral forms and a discreet engraved pearl, which is clearly related to the vegetal style of this type of Persian pieces. It has a delicate side handle that represents a fantastic animal coiled on itself, with the whole body engraved with vegetal and geometric forms. On the base there are the marks of the silver dam in a clear way: the number 84 in Arabic numerals on one of the marks and a square with Arabic script characters. This original piece is in a very good state of preservation, with no dents or dings, and with the original patina that denotes that it is an antique and completely genuine piece.A real museum piece that will undoubtedly enhance a good silver collection!Measures: 20 x 5,5 cm. Weight: 300 grams.
