Fine vintage spectroscope in good condition made in the 1960s-70s, finely preserved. This is an original and functional item, very probably designed for educational purposes. The device preserves all the lenses but the central prism is missing; this piece can be easily replaced by a new one.This instruments, also known as spectrographs or spectrometers, are used to measure the properties of the light emitted by a concrete source aiming to identify different materials. The item that we can see in the photographs is made of cast iron and silvery metal and includes a tripod with height-regulation screw, original from the time and in great condition too. This vintage spectroscope dated in the 1960s-70s is a fascinating item, full of scientific and historic interest and perfect to become part of the best collection. Measurements: Height: 12 in / 30 cm.
