Black Bakelite Vintage Telephone original from the 50s of the 20th century. This telephone was manufactured in Germany and is in very good condition and perfect working order. Its mechanism has been adapted in order to connect the telephone to current phone lines. It can be used with standard connections but not with digital lines such as Vodaphone or Orange. Furthermore this is a completely functional item that will make its user experiment the matchless feeling of dialing the number with the rotary disk and will provide any room with a touch of class. This telephone is a real vintage piece from the middle of the 20th century and in no way a current reproduction. The black bakelite it is made of is in very good condition, flat and shiny and with no dents or scratches. The telephone lacks no parts and also keeps the original fabric-lined wire that connects the auricular-mouthpiece with the main body. The cord's lining is somewhat frayed in the point where it joins the mouthpiece, but even so it is in perfect working order. The rotary dialing disk is also black and the numbers are white. There are numbers under the circular openings and also printed in the disk, though smaller in size.Just below the disk, to the front of the telephone there is a visible cylindrical white bakelite button that was probably intended to contact the telephone service operator. These telephones were very popular in the middle of the past century, and became important characters in many North American noir films. The telephone we are looking at is a real survival of those times and can still stand out with its lovely presence and insuperable charm in the most especial house.
