Original Vintage Telephone Manufactured in Denmark in the 1930s. Adapted and Working

Vintage telephone with a nice retro look, original from the 1930s. This great telephone has come to us in an excellent condition, and it is not only a decorative piece but it can also be used to make and receive phone calls. The item has been adapted to standard domestic phone lines (non digital) and is a functional device that will fill any room with the charm from bygone times. This telephone comes from Denmark and was made in Stockholm following the classic lines of the pieces produced at that time. Made of black bakelite and with silvery metal parts, its design with a high metal mouthpiece support is very remarkable.This feature provides the telephone with a stylish and appealing look that matches perfectly the sober black bakelite body. The black-lacquered metal dialing disk is also very nice and its center is decorated with the Danish flag and shield and the inscription JYDSK. This motive is full of color and stands out powerfully on the black surface. Just by the disks round openings we can see the numbers from 1 to 0, and through them, the alphabet letters in groups of three printed in black on a white background.The silvery metal mouthpiece support is in wonderful condition, showing off a very attractive design and a polished and shiny finish. The mouthpiece is connected to the telephone by the classical spiral cord, and its design is solid and original. Le telephones sides are decorated with a colorful printed decoration with the same motive depicted in the dialing disk. Under the motive we can see the word AKTIESELSKAB (limited partnership). If we turn the telephone upside down, at its base we will find the following embossed inscription: KJØVENHAVNS TELEFON AKTIESELSKAB (Copenhaguen Telephone Company, Ltd.).Such as a decorative and special telephone it is sure to be the star of any homes decoration, providing an unmistakable retro touch.
