Antique French Enchanteur Phonograph. France, 1903 Antique French Enchanteur phonograph made in 1903 and entirely restored by the master restorer Pedro Martínez. This singular device is more than 115 years old and remains in excellent condition. The motor has been cleaned and fine-tuned, so today it is quite silent and makes it possible to enjoy the wonderful sound of the phonograph. This article shows off a sturdy and strong structure, with a high-quality and finely-made construction: these features improve the devices sound quality too. All the component parts and pieces that make up the phonograph are original except for the metal rod that supports the horn and the red rubber piece that connects this part with the reproducer. The phonographs box is made of solid oak wood. The planks are connected by small and delicate dovetail joints, strong and precise. The metal handle and hooks are original too and remain in good condition. But surely the most appealing part of this device is the imposing big-sized silvery metal horn; its mouth has a diameter of 14 inches and is wonderfully preserved. The metal looks shiny and polished and shows no signs of rust or wear, creating a truly remarkable piece. This delicate antique French Enchanteur phonograph will stand out in a room with music-related antiques or as part of the decoration of a special place. Measurements: Box: Width: 11,4 in / 28.5 cm.
