We are facing a beautiful and original British radio the 50's of the XX century, made by the prestigious brand His Master's Voice (HMV, Auch Marke Marconi) in Hayes, Middlesex. The beauty of this radio, Model 1122, will no doubt surprise many lovers of old appliances, as it responds to a futuristic design far from the aesthetic of vintage radios. Just for this reason the radio has a unique charm and appeal, which together with its perfect performance and excellent conditions make it a real collector's item. On the front we can see the famous circular logo of the brand, with the inscription Compañía del Gramófono Soc. An. Española. In addition to its beautifully execution, this radio also has a double dial with light. It has superheterodyne receiver in general, improving the quality of tuning over previous tuned radio frequency receivers. Wave reception has OM, OL, OC and permanent magnet dynamic speaker. The wood is in excellent condition, combining two types of clear veneer in the front and the sides. The dial, located at the base and with a red background, is another elegant detail. The back of the radio, made of wood painted in black, has decorative diamond-shape openings for venting the mechanism. There are some inscriptions: at the top we can read the registration number 861813, and again the logo and brand name; at the bottom, the different applications. There is also a white plate with the description of the license. The internal mechanisms are antique and have a somewhat deteriorated look in appearance, but they are in perfect working order. This is just touch of antiquity that adds to the details of this beautiful radio, whose design and quality will make it stand out in any great collection . Radio measurements: 500 mm wide x 345 mm high.
