Rare Antique Calcorex Mechanical Calculator. Zagreb, Yugoslavia, 1950s

Rare antique Calcorex mechanical calculator made in Zagreb (former Yugoslavia, now Croatia) in the 1950s and in very good condition. It is not usual to find these calculators in such good condition as the one that we can see in these images. The calculator boasts an excellent working order and makes it possible to perform the four basic arithmetical operations. It was made by TRS Zagreb, acronym of Tvornice Ra?unskih Strojeva (Factory of Computer Machines). This company was founded the 25th of March, 1948; today the factory does not exist. The calculator stands out for its fine design, combining two different enameled finishes in two shades of grey (light grey and medium grey). The finish is quite well preserved and so are the silvery-metal mobile component parts and the black plastic pieces. At the top left corner of the calculators front side we can see the brand logo, a bright-blue metal enameled triangle with the TRS acronym and the city name, Zagreb.
