Huge 78 Notes Polyphon Musical Box with 20 Records. It has a lovely square-shaped wooden box placed on a wider base, decorated with a continuous frieze of wavy designs. All the surface is covered with plates of wood with different veneer, which makes an interesting contrast and turn this box into a very decorative piece. At the top, a beautiful floral decoration made of colored marquetry stands out. The cover can be opened by a double hinge, which lets the user see the mechanism and place the different records. On one side there is a crank to operate the mechanism, with a golden ring placed just where the crank meets the box, decorated with stylized vegetal motives. Inside the cover there is a nice sheet of paper with a sea landscape, and we can also see a delicate inscription with the name of the company: POLYPHON. The mechanism is also signed with a decorative plate with the name of the brand, which testifies for its authenticity. The box has a time regulator on one side, designed to increase or decrease the tunes speed. It comes with 20 metallic records (39,5 cm diameter each), which will let the user listen to wonderful melodies.
