This striking German microscope from the late 19th century is a real collectors item because of its ancient age and its exceptional condition. It comes in its original wooden case, embellished by a dark finish, and was made in 1890 by R. Krügelstein, a firm located in Berlin (Germany). This article is in an almost mint condition. The arm which holds the turret bears an engraved inscription with the name and city of the manufacturing firm: R. KRÜGELSTEIN BERLIN. The microscope keeps all its original parts in great condition. The wooden case also contains a series of accessories, such as an eyepiece and some glass sample plates into their brass sleeves. The wooden box which stores the microscope and the accessories is the original one. It is made of solid oak wood, and outside it is finished with a nice reddish brown varnish. The pieces which separate the inside of the box are also made of wood, and their edges are painted red. Inside the cover there is a paper labeled with some data about the objectives. All these details, together with this pieces ancient age and amazing condition turn it into a wonderful item, perfect to stand out in the best collection of scientific antiques.
