This curious item is a vintage cigar case made of solid wood in the 1920s and with an attractive design in line with the fashion at the time. As well as being the best place to store cigars, it is also a beautiful music box that provides an excellent and neat sound. The box works by means of a curious mechanism: pressing a button at the top of the case, the pieces opens graciously while we hear a delicate tune. This lovely cigar case is designed to store cigars and filter-less cigarettes, and as well as being in perfect working order it is also greatly preserved. The box is made of solid wood pieces and planks, with different finishes that imitate two kinds of wood. The light-colored panels boast an attractive burl wood finish, quite successful, while the legs, the pieces between the compartments and the top are decorated with an ebony-looking finish. At the hexagonal-shaped top we can see a nice decorative detail: a slim black fringe that adorns the perimeter of the plank and matches the ebony-finished parts. The cigar cases operation is quite simple: when pressing the black button located at the center of the top, the panels rotate and let us see a series of compartments where the cigars are stored. The movement works to the rhythm of the music created by the music box.
