It is almost ninety years old but is as good-looking and functional as if the time had not passed through it.Longines is a relevant company into the watch manufacturing business. It was founded in Saint-Imier (Switzerland) in 1832 by Auguste Agassiz, and is widely known thanks to its hourglass-shaped logo. This symbol is the oldest one in the watchmaking world and is still the mark of Longines watches. The companys name is printed in the white face, almost impeccable. In the dustcap we can see again the LONGINES market name with the ten medals awarded to the company in different expositions. The serial number is engraved again inside the dustcap, together with the capercaillie hallmark and number 19.
