Beautiful antique Chinese bottle made of blown glass and covered with silver in the 19th century. This bottle, which is greatly preserved, is a nice artisanal piece with a lovely design, fit to contain liquor. It is an old and valuable article that has been preserved in excellent condition, complete and undamaged except for a small gap in the silver lining, probably a junction area of the pieces. The glass is otherwise intact, with no cracks or broken parts, and the bottle preserves its silver covering and original cork in perfect condition.The piece has a curious triangular shaped with sunken sides and smooth rounded corners. It is completely covered by silver filigree cut in the shape of intertwined branches with flowers and leaves that let us see the underlying glass everywhere. The leaves and flowers are carefully engraved to enhance their nerves, petals and centers. At the top, the bottles neck is covered by a solid silver sheet with no engravings or decoration, while the original cork is crowned by a silver piece with a ball designed to pull it out.The glass the bottle is made of is hand-made blown glass, and we can check it by looking at the pieces base. There we can see some waves and marks in the thick glass, product of its modeling by means of this ancient technique. On the base we can also see a silver border with a small hallmark with some Chinese ideograms that guarantee the quality and origin of this piece. This hallmark is the finishing touch for an ancient and valuable item, which will provide the most elegant dressing table or the best collection of silver items with its originality and nice execution.Measurements: Width: 110 mm.
