Fine and elegant sterling silver decorative chain designed to connect the pocket watch its owners garment. This delicate piece is an original from the 1920s and has survived to our days in excellent condition. It boasts an original and eye-catching design, composed of different interconnected links and components that reproduce equestrian-style elements. The chain keeps all its original parts and is a classy and appealing article. In order to connect the watch and the chain, this one has a small silver carabiner hook. This element provides a safe and strong connection and joins to the rest of the chain through a nice silver link in the shape of a leather strap. The other end is connected to a similar link from which a silver horseshoe-shaped piece hangs. Both links reproduce the shape of a leather strap or belt with high precision and detail: we can see the strap, the seams, the belt and the holes. In the middle, the chain has two long silver pieces connected by two rings located at their central ends. These two pieces make up a flexible axe and are flanked by two slim chains that end in two symmetrical links, located on both ends of the chain. This items look and style match perfectly with those years fashions and also with the great interest that the equestrian arts aroused in the most wealthy and noble classes. These arts were also associated with class, style and elegance. This chain shows perfectly these characteristics, being a lovely and practical accessory for a noble gentleman. The noble metal it is made of and the original design it boasts turn this chain into the best gift ever. Measurements: Width: 1 in/2.6 cm. Height: 6.4 in/16.4 cm.
