This amazing pocket watch is a miners watch, a 24-hour watch made of blued metal and dated in the early 20th century (circa 1900). The watch is fully original and remains in excellent working conditions. The movement has been carefully cleaned and fine-tuned, so now the watch works fine. The face is also flawless, white and shiny and with perfectly legible numbers except for a very slight fault beside the number 8 that can be seen in the pictures and that it's almost inappreciable. The blued-metal box bears lovely golden-metal details as its only decoration, including the ring, the crown and the line that frames the front glass cap. The white face bears the numbers for the 24 hours of the day, a typical feature in this type of watches. The name miners watch indicate that they are designed to know which hours belong to the night and which to the day. The night hours are marked with smaller red numbers too. It we lift the rear cap, engraved in its inner face we will find the box manufacturers mark with the inscription DEPOSE ACHIER GARANTIE. The serial number 371084 can also be seen, together with another number: 357. At the top of the cap we can see number 12 too. The watchs movement is composed of delicate parts and gears made of golden brass and silvery metal: their precision and perfect fit are greatly remarkable. The watch comes in an antique case, dark-red outside and inside covered of a well-preserved white satin lining. This stunning and rare miners watch is a real collectors piece that any lover of antique watches will surely appreciate. Measurements: Width: 50 mm. Height (with Crown): 62 mm.
