Antique and Magnificent Waltham Gold Plated Pocket Watch. USA, 1919

Fantastic antique pocket watch signed by Waltham, with gold-plated casing and made in the United States of America in 1919. The watch is the Traveller model and is almost one century old; even so, it works perfectly and remains in excellent condition. The movement includes 7 jewels and has been fully overhauled in order to guarantee a perfect working order. The watchs casing is really beautiful; the rear cap is decorated with a guilloche grain-like engraved pattern and a central shield, perfect to engrave the owners initials. Inside this cap bears the engraved serial number 785655. The white dial with Roman numerals and Index-type golden hands is lovely and elegant; it bears the manufacturers name, Waltham USA, in black lettering. The rear cap bears a decoration similar to that of the front cap, but in this case there is no shield. Inside we can see the manufacturers mark, the serial number stated before and the guarantee (10 years). The gold-plated finish shows some slight dent (almost imperceptible) inside the casing, but is in overall good condition.
