Great solid wood wall clock made in France in the early 20th century. This elegant article does not only have the classic clock but also includes a barometer and a thermometer. The clock is in excellent condition and has been checked and fine-tuned so nowadays it works perfectly. Its design is balanced and harmonious and the beautiful walnut wood it is made of provides it with a quiet elegance. The boxs shape is original and stylized, wider at the top and embellished with decorative elements such as columns and turned pieces. The face is engraved in the wood, being composed of a series of concentric circles that frame the numbers. These are enameled on metal plates with white background and black Roman numbers. The hands are medieval in style, golden and slim. On both sides of the clocks face there are grooved columns, while the top is crowned by a series of small turned pieces that make up a railing. The rest of the box is adorned with discreet carved details, such as vegetal motives and nice symmetrical volutes.Under the clocks face we can see the thermometer, rectangular in shape and vertically disposed. On its white background we can see the printed centigrade scale and the glass tube with the bulb for the mercury. At the bottom, just under the thermometer we can see the magnificent barometer: a very attractive instrument that lets us see part of its inner mechanism. Just like the thermometer, it has white background with French inscriptions printed on it. The clock keeps the original key designed to wind it up and set the time. This striking clock with barometer and thermometer will be the starring piece of a classy home. Its ancient age and great look guarantee it.Medidas: Ancho: 39 cm. Alto: 87 cm.
