Antique Kienzle Wall Clock. Circa 1.826. Well preserved and working perfectly.

Great German wall clock made by Kienzle in the beginning of the 20th century, circa 1826. This great clock is very well preserved and works perfectly, chiming the hours and the quarters. Kienzle is a German company founded in 1822 in the Black Forest, which soon became synonym of the quality and precision that characterize German technology. This brand has been producing all types of clocks (from alarm models to grandfather clocks) for more than a hundred years, and is currently a leader company in this sector. This clock has an elegant and noble silhouette, which is highlighted by the woods beautiful reddish brown color. Its different parts have been skillfully carved and turned to make up a really exceptional piece. In spite of its ancient age, this magnificent clock is in very good condition: it has no missing or broken parts and shows no presence of woodworm. The wood is covered by a nice varnish which enhances its color and veneer with a warm glow. The clock is crowned by a lovely carved piece in the shape of a horse. The animal is lifting its front legs in a rocky background on a classical temple, whose arch is adorned by a floral motive. As well as this beautiful carving the clock is also decorated by two turned pillars, one on each side. The clocks face is highly appealing and combines an ivory-colored background with big black numbers, a central engraved brass plate and smart needles with filigree openwork ends. The face has the original key. Inside, the clocks movements are in great condition. The metal bears the engraved logo of Kienzle brand: a winged circle with two clock needles in it. The pendulum bob is made of polished engraved brass and is also very beautiful, complementing the noble and stylish presence of this wonderful antique clock. It is a real collectors piece, perfect to decorate the smartest house. Measurements: 390 mm width x 1000 mm height.
