The clock and the thermometer are in perfect working order, while the barometer doesn't seem to be working. The clocks movement has been revised and adjusted and works like new. Overall, this article is in excellent condition and is an appealing and decorative piece, with a charming sober design. The clock is made of solid beech and pinewood with a nice walnut finish. The wood has a satin glow that increases its golden colors beauty. The clocks face is the biggest one and is at the top of the article; it is made of walnut wood, with Roman numbers printed in black on small shield-shaped plates. The needles are made of white-enameled brass, and are elegant and delicately shaped pieces. Under the clocks face we can see the thermometer: it works with mercury, something not very common in this kind of devices. It bears an inscription: THERMOMÈTRE CENTIGRADE, and its scale goes from 20 degrees below 0 to 47 over 0. At the bottom we find the barometer, which has a round face with the words BAROMÈTRE ANEROIDE and a nice brass needle that points the different levels of humidity and some words indicating the weather. The faces glass has a crack. The clocks movement is made of brass and has a pendulum with the number 3718 engraved in the bob.
