Impressive Spanish Bronze Tabernacle, P. XX Century. In Excellent Condition

Spectacular Spanish tabernacle made of bronze and big in size. This is a really beautiful piece in magnificent condition that boasts an impressive presence. The tabernacle was made in the first third of the 20th century and is very remarkable because of its dimensions and wonderful decoration. The item is made of bronze with silvered bronze details and keeps all its original parts, except for the cross that once crowned its top. The piece reveals itself in whole splendor.The tabernacles front is decorated in an architectural style, simulating a façade whose entry would correspond to the door behind which the Sacred Form rests. The item keeps the original lock and come with its key in perfect working order, and also a bar located into the tabernacle that is designed to hang a small curtain that hides and protects the Form beyond the outside door. The front of the tabernacle is full of religious motives engraved in the metal and boasts an elegant and balanced decoration. Four squared half columns are distributed on both sides of the piece, two on each side. Two of them are crowned by a lovely silvery angel each, while the others support delicate bronze vases.The mentioned angels have spread wings and stand in an attitude of prayer. The figures are exceptionally beautiful and demand powerfully our attention. Between them and just over the tabernacles door there are two engravings depicting angels flying and holding a crown over the cubicle that houses the Sacred Form. The door itself is also a work of art, with an embossed engraving depicting the Chalice and the Consecrated Host (this one made of silvered bronze) as the Light of the World. A fountain emerges from the Chalices base and pours water unto a shell; two lovely symmetrical deer drink from it.This monumental tabernacle is a real show of art and ornamentation, and will stand out in any place.
