Gorgeous gilt silver cruet set made in France in the 19th century, 100% silver and with hallmarks in all the pieces. This beautiful set, used in the celebration of the Eucharist, is in excellent condition. The cruets, designed to contain the Eucharisitic Wine and Water, show a stylized and lovely Pompeiian-style design. They are decorated with fine hand-engraved motifs and tiny punctured stars. The handles are gorgeous, depicting wavy branches in a very realistic way. The cruets are wonderfully preserved, with no reparations at all and with the original gilt finish in amazing condition. The whole set is really beautiful and remains greatly preserved.
