Antique liturgical brass and glass cruet set, made in Spain and in really fine condition. The cruets come with their original tray and can be perfectly used to celebrate Mass. They have brass foot, lid and handle and glass body, all the parts being original from the time. The lids are crowned by two capital brass letters vertically disposed on top of each cruet: an A for Agua (water) and a V for Vino (Wine). This is a really original detail which provides them with character and distinction. The handles are shaped as mythological birds and are stylized and elegant, while the wavy lids are adorned with embossed leaves and bunches of grapes. The brass tray has embossed and engraved bunches of grapes and wheat stalks at the border, symbols of the Eucharistic Bread and Wine. At the center we can see the acronym of Jesus Christs name, HIS, in beautiful elaborate letters.
